South Bay BMW's West Coast Bowl will take place January 27, 2013 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA. The country's most unique game will feature top Pac-12 football recruits and other D-1 bound players from the West Coast. To find the best matchups, college recruiting experts from B2G Sports invited the best high school seniors from that region.
The two teams will be chosen by a draft between the two head coaches chosen to coach the game, David Dunn of Lincoln High School in San Diego and Manuel Douglas of Narbonne High School in Harbor City. The pool of players they will be drafting from have been chosen by talent, character and college potential.
Coach Dunn is a former NFL player who led Lincoln High to a San Diego Section Championship in his first year as head coach. Coach Douglas has led Narbonne to four city titles and the playoffs in every one of his 11 years there as head coach.
The title sponsor's goal for this game is to provide the "Ultimate Experience" to everyone involved. The event quality will match the reputation of the BMW brand. Spectators in attendance will have a chance to win a brand new BMW courtesy of South Bay BMW.
The weekend activities include an Underclassmen Showcase the day before the big game. The Showcase is a recruiting exposure event where standouts can earn an invitation to the 2014 West Coast Bowl and/or an invitation to the 2014 B2G Elite Camp.
